Official Rules and Policy

Prize: 
One video iPod and eight classical CD box sets from the EMI "100 Best Series." This is an 80 gig video iPod loaded with informational content about classical music as well as the pieces of music to which the content refers. The content is exclusive to the Classical Public Radio Network and cannot be bought, sold or duplicated. The music is licensed from EMI Classics and cannot be bought, sold or duplicated. There is unused space on the iPod which can hold additional recordings. One video iPod will be given away as well as eight CD box sets from the EMI "100 Best Series.". The fair market value of this prize is $450. The Prize is not redeemable for cash, nor is it transferable.

How to Win:
No contribution to WDAV is necessary. The promotion begins at 12:00 AM ET on September 19, 2007 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on September 19, 2007. Entries must be received during this time period to be eligible.

How to Enter:
Entry is automatic with on-line gift during the promotional period.

Entries are limited to one per person, address, e-mail address or household regardless of the method of entry. No responsibility is assumed by WDAV for lost, late, damaged, incomplete entries. Nor for any human error or any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of WDAV and will not be returned.

Eligibility:
Employees of Davidson College or the Classical Public Radio Network, members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win. Contestants must be 21 years or older to enter. Participation is restricted to persons living in the United States.

Selection and Notification of Winner:
Winner will be randomly drawn by a station employee within 72 hours of the end of the contest period and notified within 48 hours after that. Winner's name will be posted on this Web site but not necessarily announced on-air. In the event of an unclaimed prize, a new name will be drawn and the winner contacted. Process will be repeated until the prize is accepted.

General Conditions: Participants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decision of WDAV, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Taxes and other expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless WDAV, Davidson College from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this promotion or any prize won. Participants also agree to grant WDAV the right to use their entry, name, image or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising or promotional purposes. Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received.
