Russia, they tell the tale of a terrible witch named Baba Yaga.
They say she lives in a hut that stands on chicken legs. She
chases after naughty children and eats them! (At least, that's
what Russian parents might tell a child who refuses to go to
bed…)
Many Russian artists have imagined what this horrible witch,
Baba Yaga, must be like. Some drew pictures of her. Others wrote
stories about her. Several composers wrote music about her.
