Official Rules and Policy

Prize: Nikon Coolpix S550 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom (Cool Blue). Only one Nikon Coolpix S550 will be given away. The Prize is not redeemable for cash nor is it transferable.

How to Enter: Register for a WDAV Photographer Account as part of WDAV's Photo of the Day feature on www.wdav.org, and upload a photo to that account. The promotion begins at 12:00 AM ET on July 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on August 1, 2008. Entries must be received during this time period to be eligible.

Entries are limited to one per person or e-mail address. No responsibility is assumed by WDAV for lost, late, damaged, incomplete entries. Nor for any human error or any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of WDAV and will not be returned.

Eligibility: Employees of Davidson College, members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win. Contestants must be 21 years or older to enter. Participation is restricted to persons living in the United States.

Selection and Notification of Winner: Winner will be randomly drawn by a station employee within 72 hours of the end of the contest period and notified within 48 hours after that. In the event of an unclaimed prize, a new name will be drawn and the winner contacted. Process will be repeated until the prize is accepted.

General Conditions: Participants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decision of WDAV, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Taxes and other expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless WDAV, Davidson College from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this promotion or any prize won. Participants also agree to grant WDAV the right to use their entry, name, image or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising or promotional purposes.
