SATURDAY 12/20 2p–3p The Main Street Sessions Holiday Special: (LOCAL PERFORMANCE) Jennifer Foster and her guests present an original WDAV seasonal music production performed in WDAV’s own Clark Performance Studio. This is a reprise of the special recorded in 2007 with the trio of Shirley Gilpin on flute, Betsey Sesler on harp and Nick Lampoon cello; the “monster” barbershop quartet Quadzilla; the choral group Vox, led by David Tang and Peppie Calvar, and other performers. : this encore presentation features the best work of the last several years of one of the great holiday traditions in America. SATURDAY 12/20 6p–7p Christmas with the Philadelphia Singers: this is a concert of traditional and contemporary holiday music performed by the renowned choral group. in anticipation of the 200th anniversary of his birth, the Yale Schola Cantorum performs a period-style version of Felix Mendelssohn's version of the biblical text. Also featured on the program is the Magnificat by J. S. Bach, which inspired Mendelssohn’s work. 2 announcement package for $140
