 The BBC Proms is the world’s greatest classical music festival. On September 12, we take you live to the joyful Last Night of the Proms concert. This year's program features David Robertson leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra with soloists Sarah Connolly and Alison Balsom—plus the always enthusiastic contributions of the lively Proms audience.
The live broadcast will start with a special 30-minute "pregame show" called The Glories of the 2009 Proms, a music-heavy presentation of the absolute best performances from the 76 Proms concerts.
Hosted by SymphonyCast's Brian Newhouse, the four-hour program airs Saturday, September 12 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
