 Join WDAV for the opening concert of the 75th anniversary season of the Tanglewood Music Festival. The Boston Symphony encores the exact program that Serge Koussevitzky conducted on August 5th, 1937: an All-Beethoven program featuring the Leonore Overture No. 3, the Symphony No. 6 ("Pastoral") and the Symphony No. 5. On the podium is Christoph von Dohnanyi, himself a Tanglewood fellow in 1952. The broadcast is co-hosted by Fred Child of Performance Today and the BSO's longtime "broadcast voice" Ron Della Chiesa.
