A Note from LuAnn

LuAnn RitsemaJanuary is proving to be a great month for classic music here at WDAV. We’re gearing up for Mozart’s birthday at the end of the month as you’ll read below. The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra series has returned to our weekend lineup. And we had a marvelous time at our recent benefit concert January 6th at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. The performances by area musicians were fantastic! If you missed the concert, you can still get a sampling of this incredible local talent by tuning in Sundays at 3:00 pm to Carolina Live: The Main Street Sessions.

Happy Birthday Wolfgang!

If you visit the Mozart Request Page today (Friday) before 5 p.m., you can register your selection and be entered to win Mozart CD’s. There’s lot of great music ahead, including a live trans-Atlantic broadcast on Friday, January 27th at noon. Read more at our My Favorite Mozart page.
