Play It Again, Sam!

Ever catch part of an interview on WDAV and wish you could've heard the whole thing? Or have you ever heard the entire interview and wished you could hear even more? Well now you can at our Interview Archives page. This is where we post the archived audio of our features and interviews. And many times, they are unedited versions that you don't get on-air. Click here to visit the Interview Archives page on our Web site. Check out the most recent conversations with Opera Carolina principals Jennifer Welch-Babidge and Fernando de la Mora and Winston-Salem Symphony music director Robert Moody.

Youth Concerto Competition

High School age musicians are invited to apply to audition for the fifth annual Youth Concerto Competition sponsored by the Charlotte Civic Orchestra (formerly the Charlotte Repertory Orchestra) and the Charlotte Music Teachers Association. WDAV is pleased to be a media partner for this event. For detailed information about the competition and how to participate, visit our Youth Concerto Competition page.

WDAV Contests

Be sure to visit the Contest Page at wdav.org often to participate in our various contests. You could win tickets to local events or even classical cd's. On the site right now are contests for tickets to the Oratorio Singers performance of Verdi's Requiem and Carolinas Concert Association's presentation of the Munich Symphony.

Last Weekend for ASID Showhouse

The 34th annual Charlotte Symphony Guild ASID Showhouse is open though Sunday, October 23. This year's Showhouse is a 1913 home located at 911 Ardsley Road in the heart of Myers Park. Proceeds from the Showhouse allow the Symphony Guild to support its enrichment projects, the Charlotte Symphony and youth music education. WDAV is pleased to be a media sponsor for this project. For more detailed information, visit our Events Calendar.
