Holiday Open House

You're invited to join us at WDAV's studios on Main Street in Davidson this Friday, November 30th. We're kicking off the holiday season with an Open House party. Meet the Conductor!

Tune in Friday (11/30) at 9:30 am and Saturday (12/1) at 11:30 am as WDAV’s Jennifer Foster speaks with Music Director candidate Edwin Outwater. He'll be at the podium this weekend for the next Charlotte Symphony Classics Concerts on Friday and Saturday night. The program is a real conductor’s showcase, ranging from an early Mozart symphony to Stravinsky’s music for The Firebird.

Trip to Eastern Germany

WDAV invites you to join Luther Wade and Jennifer Foster next summer as they explore the land of the 18th century German Enlightenment and composers like G. F. Handel and J. S. Bach. The 12-day journey (June 6-17) includes stops at Berlin, Leipzig, Prague and more. Read all about this special travel opportunity on our Web site - but if you are interested you'll want to hurry. The Gift that Gives Back

Music makes the holidays here at WDAV and in celebration of the season, for a brief time only, we're offering some select holiday CD's as thank you gifts for your end of year online contribution of $100 or more to WDAV. You can choose from "Seasons of Sunday Baroque," "Many Moods of Christmas" with the Atlanta Symphony, or "Christmas Traditions" from the Canadian Brass. The special holiday thank you offer will run at the WDAV web site starting Thursday, November 29th through December 9th.
