beloved work at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
They’ll be joined by the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte
in a concert dedicated to the memory of Dr. Richard
Peek, long-time Music Director at Covenant Presbyterian

in January - The Main Street Sessions Benefit Concert
Make plans
now to join WDAV and some of the best area musicians
in concert at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in
Charlotte on Friday January 6th at 7:00 pm. The Main
Street Sessions Concert is benefit to help raise awareness
and support for regional music and WDAV”s Carolina
Live series. No admission will be charged, but voluntary
contributions will be happily accepted at the door.

I don't know about you, but this time in December is when
it really starts to feel like Christmas to me. The trees are
going up; the packages are being sent; and the holiday music
at WDAV 89.9 is increasing with each passing day. In fact,
most of our great holiday specials have yet to air. This weekend
the schedule starts to get busy; so,you might want to check
out the Holiday Programs page at our Web site to see what
airs when. Look in the left column of this email for some
schedule highlights. Also, it's not too late to get Christmas
