Special Announcement: WDAV Has a New General Manager

It's official -- WDAV and Davidson College are pleased to announce the appointment of its newest general manager -- Benjamin K. Roe.

A consummate public radio professional with a long and impressive resume, Roe brings over 25 years of public radio and media experience to the job and was most recently NPR's director of music and music initiatives. He’ll begin his duties with WDAV on July 1st. The Grammy and Peabody Award-winning producer for NPR was officially welcomed as general manager of WDAV at a reception at the station this morning. He succeeds current manager Kim Hodgson, who is retiring at the end of June after nearly 9 years at the station.
