 Start the week with a boost of culture in a social setting. Modern Mondays programs provide an opportunity to interact with museum professionals, scholars and others who present a deeper understanding of works on exhibition in the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
Event reception begins at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 6:30p.m. Tickets are $8 for non-members and free for members. Cash bar. Tickets may be purchased at bechtler.org, by phone 704-353-9200, or at the visitor services desk.
October 8 and 15: Bechtler teaching artist Ginny Boyd leads a two-day, hands-on workshop based on Alberto Giacometti's methods and influences. Participants will tour the exhibition “Giacometti: Memory and Presence” and create artworks from bendable wire. Space is limited. Tickets for both workshops are $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
