A Pumpkin Carving Workshop will be held at the CVCC Potters’ Workshop, Sat., Oct. 13 from 1p.m. to 4p.m. This hands-on workshop, given by Kim Ellington, is designed for all areas of expertise and interest. Participants will receive one previously turned pumpkin, made by Ellington, to carve their own design. Upon completion of the workshop, pieces will be raw fired in an electric kiln, without glaze, to give the pumpkins a more realistic color; participants can pick up their piece between October 22 and 26.
