November 16 – The documentary "Louis Sullivan: The Struggle for American Architecture" marks the first time that the life and career of Louis Sullivan has been brought to the screen. After months of research, director Mark Richard Smith traveled throughout the Midwest and east coast of the U.S. to view most of Sullivan’s surviving structures. The experience shaped Smith’s commitment to presenting the stirring, profound beauty of Sullivan’s architecture.
