Please join The Choir School at St. Peter’s on December 7th or 8th at 730PM for our annual Christmas Concert, where our choirs will present a program of traditional English carols by Harold Darke and Eric Thiman, a portion of Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata, and a new work by award-winning BBC composer, Edmund Jolliffe. In celebration of our 20th season we will be premiering a commissioned piece, Hodie Christus natus est, composed by Northwest School of the Arts Choral Conductor, Peppie Calvar. The commission was sponsored in part by a grant from Charlotte Arts and Science Council. The Choir School’s Christmas Concert is sure to delight audience members of all ages and has become an annual favorite for Charlotte families, requiring two performances to accommodate the sell-out crowds. General admission tickets are $15 for adults/$5 for children under 12; with reserved blocks of four for $100. Free validated parking is available in the Transamerica parking deck, located on 7th Street.
