The Arts Council of York County presents Alan Black & the Tryon Street Quartet on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Community Performance Center, 249 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC. Alan Black is currently in his 25th year with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Rounding out the quartet are Kari Giles and Tatiana Karpova on violin, and Ning Zhao on viola. All are musicians with the Charlotte Symphony. Enjoy an evening of pure magical virtuosity as the group performs selections from Mozart, Bach, Puccini and Haydn. Admission for Alan Black & The Tryon Street Quartet is $15/person for Arts Council of York County members and $20/person for non-members. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling 803-328-2787, by visiting www.yorkcountyarts.org to purchase online. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the night of the performance. Doors open at 7PM.
