The newly formed Davidson Film Club is pleased to announce the screening of its first film, The Screaming Man (France/Chad, 2010) on Saturday, January 26th at 7:00pm. This group was formed in an effort to create a local opportunity for people who enjoy film as art to view and discuss unique and thoughtful cinematic works. The series of films being screened are critically acclaimed, award-winning films from around the world. The projection system is a new top-of-the-line digital wide-screen HD. Thanks to a collaboration with the Davidson Community Players, the films will be screened at the Armour Street Theater in Davidson. Each film will be preceded by a short introduction and followed by a discussion session. The Club membership fee is $30 per person for the initial five films, and memberships are still available. Single seats are $8 at the door, when available.
