  • Join us and three of the region's most influential thought leaders for a discussion on the issues facing more than 1 million high school students in the U.S.. Davidson College President, Dr. Carol Quillen; High Point University President, Dr. Nido R. Qubein; and Ric Elias, Red Ventures CEO and founder of Golden Door Scholars, discuss the issues that are preventing these students from moving beyond high school and that are limiting the success of our nation. Golden Door Scholars is a nonprofit created to expand educational opportunities, increase awareness and raise scholarship funds for high-performing undocumented students. A reception begins at 6pm, followed by program at 6:45pm. The event is free and open to the public. An RSVP is suggested.
